Application-Specfic Board Configurations
For those times when ordering a factory default board may not be
enough.
Frequently we are contacted by customers using boards in obsolete or
discontinued equipment for which the manufacturer will no longer
provide spares or support, or has gone out of business.
Common examples include semiconductor processing equipment, assembly
line or process control systems, PLC's, specialty test equipment,
medical diagnostic imaging systems, and high-end machine tools.
Simply ordering an MVMExxxx or similar part number won't do the job
because the board needs some customization to boot and operate
properly.
It could be specific jumper settings, a boot ROM/bootloader for VxWorks
or another operating system, boot time or VME bus configuration
parameters, or any number of other things.

In many cases the customer does not have either the time or the on-site
expertise to configure a factory default board for proper operation in
their system.
That's where we come in.
